Your Bio

am a newcomer to Hawaii. Moved to Oahu in Dec 07, having never visited here before. I came from Wilmington, NC, where I lived, worked, and raised my two daughters for 30 years.
I started in digital photography about 5 years ago and got my first DSLR (Oly E-1) not quite 2 years ago. My husband works at the corps of engineers at Ft. Shaftner , and we live in Kailua.
I work part time as a dietitian.
I take my camera whereever I go, always ready to take pictures. Since moving here, it has never left my side.

MAY PHOTOS : various images I have taken around the island and here in Hawaii during May 2008. This first gallery was taken during the May Day/ Lei Day here in Honolulu, an annual festival. This year they made a mile long lei and got in the guiness book of records.
